Hey, I’m Andy.

I made this site to share the stuff I’m into — virtualization, home theater, smart home gear, gadgets, bourbon, and whatever else I’m messing with at the moment. Nothing polished or salesy… just the real-world things I’m trying, breaking, fixing, or figuring out.

I’ve always been that guy who goes way too deep on things… tuning a subwoofer until it feels just right, wiring up automations so the lights dim when the movie starts, or digging into the latest hypervisor updates just to see what’s changed under the hood. It’s fun for me, and if someone else gets something useful out of it too, even better.

I’m a dad, a tech nerd, and someone who appreciates good design and gear that actually works. No fluff here. If I like something, I’ll say so. If it sucks, I’ll say that too.

This blog is just a space for the things I care about… and maybe you care about them too.
